Barbers: 5 reasons to ditch the crowded waiting room

A man getting his hair cut by a barber

A full waiting room looks busy, but every customer who sees it, sighs and walks back out is a lost haircut. Here is what changes when your queue moves onto customers’ phones.

1. Fewer walk-outs

Customers who can wait in the café next door are far happier to wait. They join from your QR poster, leave, and come back when it is nearly their turn.

2. New customers find you

People searching nearby see your wait time, prices, opening hours and reviews, and can join your queue or book before they set off.

3. A calmer shop

Each chair has its own queue and you just tap “Call next”. Put the TV screen on any smart TV or old tablet and everyone can see who is next (ticket numbers only, never names).

4. Card payments straight to your bank

Customers can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay when they book or join, through Stripe, or simply pay in the shop. Tips go to you in full.

5. It is free to start

Listing your shop, the queue, bookings, reviews, offers and the TV screen are free. Pro (£19 a month) adds more chairs, a login for each barber and the day sheet, for shops with a team. Prices as of October 2026.
