These terms apply when you use FindMyNextBarber, run by FINDMYNEXTSTAY LTD (company number 15128680, registered in England and Wales, registered office 321-323 Office 8537, High Road, Romford, England, RM6 6AX). Contact: support@findmynextbarber.com. By creating an account you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information.

1. What FindMyNextBarber is

FindMyNextBarber helps people find barber shops and hair salons, join a shop’s queue from their phone, book a time, pay online, reserve products, apply for jobs at shops, keep a history of their haircuts and share them. The shops are independent businesses. Each shop is responsible for its services, products, prices, opening times, staff, job vacancies and the haircut itself, and the agreement for a haircut or a product is between you and the shop. We are not a party to it.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over and give your real name, email address and mobile number.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Only add family members you look after, such as your children.
  • You can delete your account at any time in My profile.

3. Queues and bookings

  • You can hold one queue ticket at a time. Wait times are estimates.
  • When it is your turn and you are not at the shop within 5 minutes, the next person goes first and you move back one place. If you have not arrived within 1 hour, your ticket or booking is cancelled, unless you chose to extend it, which moves you to the back of the queue.
  • Please cancel bookings you cannot keep. A shop may refuse service to people who repeatedly do not turn up.
  • Prices and offers (such as loyalty cards and quiet-time discounts) are set by each shop.

4. Paying and refunds

  • In shops that take card payments you can choose Pay now or Pay in the shop. Online payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s own page, and the money goes to the shop’s own Stripe account. FindMyNextBarber keeps a commission from the shop’s share; you pay the price shown, plus any tip you choose. Tips go to the shop in full.
  • A booking you cancel 2 hours or more before it starts is refunded in full. A booking you cancel later, or do not turn up to, is not refunded.
  • A queue ticket you leave before you are called is refunded in full. A ticket cancelled because you did not arrive after being called is not refunded.
  • Anything the shop or we cancel, or a booking the shop moves, is always refunded in full. If the price goes down after you paid, the difference is refunded; if it goes up, or you add services in the shop, you pay the extra in the shop.
  • Products you reserve are collected and checked in the shop. You can cancel a reservation at any time before you collect it, with a full refund if you paid online.
  • Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Your bank may take a few days to show them. The app shows you the refund rule before you pay and before you cancel. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

5. Reviews and the Public page

You can review a shop and share a haircut only after a real visit. Be honest and respectful. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, sexual, misleading or spam, other people’s personal details, or photos of people who did not agree to be shown. Only share photos you have the right to share. You keep ownership of what you post and give us permission to show it on FindMyNextBarber. We may hide or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Anyone can report a post.

6. Jobs

Shops may advertise up to 3 job vacancies at their own shop. Vacancies must be real, lawful and non-discriminatory, and only for work at that shop. The shop alone decides who it hires and is responsible for the job and its terms. Applications are shared only with the shop you apply to.

7. Shop owners and staff

  • You must have the right to list the shop and keep its details, prices, products and opening times accurate. Shops appear once we approve them.
  • Use customers’ details only to serve them, keep them safe, and follow data protection law. Customers’ phone numbers are shown to you only when the customer allows it.
  • Honour bookings you accept and products customers reserve. You are responsible for staff you give a login to.
  • Card payments: to take card payments you open a Stripe account through the app and accept Stripe’s terms (the Stripe Connected Account Agreement). For each card payment through the app, we keep our commission, shown in the app (currently 10% of the price, never of tips), and the rest is paid to your Stripe account. We pay Stripe’s processing fee out of our commission. Refunds follow section 4 and are taken back from your share. You may switch card payments off at any time.
  • Plans: the Free plan costs nothing. Pro and Featured are monthly subscriptions paid by card through Stripe at the price shown in the app when you subscribe, renewing automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays until the end of the month you paid for. Payments already made are not refunded unless the law requires it. If Pro ends, your shop goes back to Free; extra chairs and staff logins are switched off, not deleted. We will tell you in advance before a price change affects you.
  • You can close your shop at any time.

8. Affiliates

Approved affiliates earn a share of the Pro plan payments of shops that sign up with their code, at the percentages shown in the affiliate dashboard (currently 50% of a shop’s first Pro payment and 25% of every later one; Featured payments and shops on the Free plan earn nothing). We may change the percentages for future payments with notice in the app; amounts already recorded do not change. Shares are paid only after we have received the shop’s payment: automatically through Stripe once you have set up payouts (for UK bank accounts), otherwise by hand. A share for a payment that is refunded is not earned. Self-referral, fake shops, signing up a shop without the owner’s agreement and misleading promotion, including promising earnings or customers, are not allowed and end the affiliate account without payment of the affected shares. You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.

9. Our service

We work to keep FindMyNextBarber available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and queue positions, wait times, distances and shop information may not always be up to date. We may change, suspend or stop features. We may suspend or close accounts and shops that break these terms or put others at risk.

10. Liability

We are not responsible for the services, products or jobs provided by shops, or for losses that were not foreseeable or that result from a shop’s acts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

11. Complaints, changes and law

If something goes wrong, email support@findmynextbarber.com and we will try to put it right. We may update these terms and will tell you in the app or by email when a change matters. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
